Sai Kung District -- The second largest district in Hong Kong in terms of area, Sai Kung is located at the extreme east of the HK mainland. It consists of a portion of Sai Kung Peninsula in the New Territories (the southern half) and a strip to the east of Kowloon. The two main centres are Sai Kung Town and Tseung Kwan O New Town. The fantastic landscape blending the sea, cliffs and mountains offers fantastic wild locations for films set in the past or in the present.
Info on the district can be found of the Home Affairs Department website. (Map of the area)

A great many restaurants on the Sai Kung Seafood Street provide delicious seafood to locals and tourists. The street is recommended by the famous international food and travel guide Le Guide Michelin.
In Johnnie To’s Vengeance, on this very street and at the restaurant Tung Kee Seafood, Costello (Johnny Hallyday) tracks down the group of assassins led by Python (Felix Wong) who killed the whole family of Costello’s daughter. He is helped in his quest for revenge by Kwai (Anthony Wong), Chu (Lam Ka-tung) and Fat Lok (Lam Suet).
