Theresa Cheung and Kenny Bee or so it should be…

HKCinemagic : One of the movie you did for Wong Jing is a comedy called Love and Sex of the Eastern Hollywood. Making fun of real private life of Hong Kong stars.
Jimmy Wong : It was just a little cameo but it was kind of funny. I was supposed to portray Kenny Bee and the problem he had with his wife Theresa [Cheung]. And it was very funny because we became very good friends through my ex girlfriend. And in the movie, I was portraying him like beating up his wife… And before that his wife was dating a man and, myself, I was dating this guy's daughter! (Laughs) So it was quite fun when I met him we talked about me portraying him and also dating his wife's boyfriend daughter (laughs). But we became good friend.

HKCinemagic : Crying Heart is a comedy by Wong Jing about retarded people… Weren't you afraid of the result?
Jimmy Wong : (Laughs.) Well, it wasn't too bad. I was playing a very mean guy there. It kind of reminded me when I was a kid. When you are young, you are in the playground and not educated, a bit stupid, sometimes, you pick up on people because of their mental illness. I did that once when I was young and I feel very bad about it now. So I portrayed my character this way, as a not educated person. I look like a bully but it works for the role!

HKCinemagic : How did you get along with the other members of the cast?
Jimmy Wong : I enjoyed working with Deannie. With Suki as well. But you know, with Wong Jing movies, you can not expect too much. It's very superficial.

HKCinemagic : You did quite a few works with Wong Jing. I have the impression he likes working with you.
Jimmy Wong : Yes, indeed, he like working with me. Because there are not so many actors here who don't mind to do these roles. So he often recommends me. Of course, I would really like to hit the movie I really like but, on the other hand, I have to keep working. I'm still looking for the movie I would really be proud of. I'm looking at some script and am gathering some people together in the US . It's at a very beginning stage but I have good hopes. We are trying to do some crossovers, find like an American actor or actress who would like to promote itself more in Asia and at the same time, it would help us to secure distribution. Something which would benefit for everybody.

HKCinemagic : One of the most memorable Wong Jing's productions you did is Raped By An Angel 5, the last instalment of the Raped By An Angel series. It's known for its erotic content. Was it the source of any difficulties for you?
Jimmy Wong : Probably not. But, of course, if you have a psychotic guy the girls could be attracted to, you need to find a guy who could be this type of person. And as I said, it's not that easy to find someone like that in Hong Kong .

HKCinemagic : How was your collaboration with Kelly Lin?
Jimmy Wong : She's a good kisser (laughs). It was my first kiss scene. The only one actually (laughs). But she's good. She also grew up in the States. She was kind of new at that time but we got along quite well.
