Plot |
|
In spring 1945 idealistic young doctor Morishima joins the Japanese armies secret unit 731 in order to bring victory and honor to his country. When he arrives at the base in Manfhuria, he is shocked by the torturous experiments inflicted upon living human beings. Back in Japan his fiancee Chikida tries to contact him, but all contact with members of 731 unit is forbidden. In a desperate attempt to meet him, she poses as a Chinese prisoner and is secretly transported to the base. When Morishima meets her face to face, she is about the be taken to one of the experimentation labs. Despite strict rules and discipline, he plans to free her in order to save her from a horrible and certain death.
