Plot

Keung (Jackie Chan) comes from Hong Kong to visit New York for his uncle's wedding. His uncle (Bill Tung) runs a market in the Bronx and Keong offers to help out while he is on his honeymoon. During his stay in the Bronx, Keong befriends a neighborhood kid and beats up some local thugs who cause problems at the market.
Meanwhile, one of those petty thugs in the local gang stumbles into a criminal situation way over his head. Blinded by greed, his involvement draws his gang, the kid, Keong, and the whole neighborhood into a deadly crossfire. When lazy cops fail to successfully resolve matters, Keong takes things into his own hands.

  Notes
1.  With this film, Jackie Chan turned openly to the American public since he covets more than twenty years. Pari successful, this film is a success at the box office and represents the first leg of his American conquest. However, it is difficult to gauge the film at its fair value, since the version currently available is amputated more than twenty minutes. This shift is reflected by a pure action film. Thus waterfalls and fighting one another at a frenetic pace, making this film very entertaining but unfortunately the emptying of any substance.
