Plot

Social worker Sandy (Olivia Cheng) emgrated to Canada with her father when she was young. With the encouragement of her father, she decided to come back to Hong Kong to develop her career. In Hong Kong, her father also had a mission to find his missing wife. Sandy worked in a girls' home in Hong Kong. During her probation period, she was confronted with four problematic cases.
Mildred (Loletta Lee) the daughter of a millionaire, injured her father accidentally and was convicted. Jane (Irene Wan) was put in the girls' home because she ran away from her family many times. Kam (Fennie Yuen) and her good friend, Smart Ass (Chan Ka Ling) were young prostitutes. Sandy was friendly and sincere to all of them and was gradually accepted as a friend. Sandy discovered that Kam's mother was in fact her mother and Kam is her step-sister. When dealing with Kam, she was totally perplexed under the mixed feeling. Sandy's probation period was almost finished. Her boyfriend John wanted her to go back to USA. This was resolved when John decided to come to Hong Kong to work and marry Sandy. At the wedding, the four girls were the bride's maids. (Joy Sales)
