Fake Bruce Lee
The international karate film star's premature death obviously left a great void that unscrupulous producers hurried to fill! The clones' names had the taste and smell of the original without unfortunately reaching a tenth of the model's talent. In order, the most famous are Bruce Li, Bruce Le, Dragon Lee, Bruce Lai, Bruce Leung, Bruce Tong, Bruce Thai...

Fat-si / Exorcist
Fat-si: ('fashi' in Mandarin) a master as regards vampires, can be compared to an exorcizer. Generally, he's a Taoist priest who knows by heart all the supernatural techniques.

The most famous fat-si in HK cinema is undoubtedly Lam Ching Ying, the 'Mr. Vampire' in the whole series of films of the same kind. The other fat-si is Wu Ma, the Taoist monk in Chinese Ghosts Stories.

Feng Shui
Feng Shui ('wind and water' in Mandarin): the study of energies in a given place. For the Chinese the universe is composed of three major energies: the celestial, terrestrial and human energies. Those energy currents have a positive or negative influence on ourselves and what surrounds us. This belief results in a good or bad fortune according to the place, the direction or layout of objects. Feng Shui is practised a lot in Hong Kong and Taiwan, by both private individuals and private companies. For example, a bank will consult a master of this discipline before building its head office because if the premises do not respect Feng Shui's precepts, customers will not want to come and deposit their money.

One can have a good introduction in Bury Me High by Tsui Siu Ming where moved graves act on the descendants' behaviours.

Fong Sai-yuk
Another Chinese hero (like Wong Fei-hong) from Canton who was at the origin of numerous films as early as 1928 in the Shanghai's production Fong Sai Yuk's Battle In The Boxing Ring. Many others were to follow. The most famous ones being the two Fong Sai Yuk by Corey Yuen, spectacular martial arts comedies with the star Jet Li. In France, one knows the darker interpretation of the character by Tsui Hark and Ringo Lam with their Burning Paradise. This young hero is sometimes compared to the American "Billy The Kid".
